Greg goes to New Orleans

Here are some pictures from a trip to New Orleans.

I saw a wedding and lots of drunk people on Bourbon Street.

I like this sign for some reason.

[ 002 ] [ 640 ]

Louisiana is so friendly.

Bourbon Street was just outside the hotel I stayed in!

[ 004 ] [ 640 ]

There were strings of beads atop many roofs on Bourbon Street for some reason.

[ 005 ] [ 640 ]

The wedding took place at this plantation-style house.

The ringbearers cost the guys a point by walking down the aisle way too quickly and for not keeping the ring on the pillow (it hung off the pillow on a ribbon).

My foot enjoyed the festivities.

For the record, the guys won the wedding 5 to 3. It was almost like the girls didn't know there was a contest going on. The flower girl in particular wasn't on her game. She cost her team 2 whole points.

The single ladies line up to catch the bouquet.

The single guys line up to catch the garter belt.

This place sold big beers, apparently.

[ 019 ] [ 640 ]

This man in a grenade suit followed these ladies around for hours. It was so sad.

[ 021 ] [ 640 ]

This gentleman had a pants related accident.

[ 022 ] [ 640 ]

I think every town needs a voodoo shop. Really.

[ 033 ] [ 640 ]

I want a jazz funeral when I die.

[ 034 ] [ 640 ]

The Rat's Hole seemed popular.

[ 035 ] [ 640 ]

[ 036 ] [ 640 ]

These two young ladies in pink were pretty hairy.

[ 037 ] [ 640 ]

That sign isn't lying. Seeing truly is believing. Oh the beautiful ladies!

[ 038 ] [ 1024 ]

Time to go home!
